In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in the Czech Republic exhibited diverse performance trends. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed look at the weekly downloads and active users for these applications.

Mapy.cz: maps & navigation saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 7.8K at the beginning of October and dropping to around 3.5K by the end of November. However, there was a notable increase in December, with downloads peaking at 6.2K in the final week. Active users also showed a fluctuating pattern, starting at about 188K in late September, dipping to 140K by the end of November, and then rising again to 161K by the end of December.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a relatively steady performance in terms of weekly downloads, hovering around the 4K mark for most of the quarter, with a slight dip to 2.8K in late November before recovering to 4.7K in the last week of December. The app's active users ranged between 50K and 55K for much of the quarter, with a notable drop to 41.5K in mid-December, followed by a slight recovery to 43K by the end of the month.

Czech Public Transport IDOS experienced relatively stable weekly downloads, starting at about 4.4K in late September and maintaining similar levels throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations. Active users showed a significant decline from 578K in early October to 442K by the end of December. The app also generated modest weekly revenue, peaking at $50 in mid-November.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic faced a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at approximately 4.4K and decreasing to around 2.5K by early December. However, there was a resurgence towards the end of December, with downloads reaching 4.8K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 126K and 145K throughout the quarter.

PID Litacka showed a decline in weekly downloads from 3.4K at the start of the quarter to around 1.8K towards the end of December. Active users remained fairly consistent, ranging between 16K and 18K, with minor fluctuations.
